Price alerts are one of the most practically valuable features on GoldKurs.ch. Instead of monitoring prices continuously, you define threshold levels and receive an instant notification when they are reached — via email, push notification or both.
Creating Your First Alert
Navigate to Dashboard → Price Alerts → New Alert. Select: asset (gold, silver, platinum, palladium, BTC, or a currency pair), condition (above / below / crosses), price level, currency (CHF, EUR or USD), and notification method (email / push / both). Save — the alert is immediately active.
Practical Alert Examples (May 2026)
- Gold above 4,800 USD: Breakout signal — if gold reclaims this level, the next target is the April 2026 interim high and eventually the ATH at 5,595 USD.
- Gold below 4,200 USD: Key support warning — a break of the 200-day MA area would be a meaningful bearish signal.
- Silver above 80 USD: Major resistance retest after the May 13 high of 121.64 USD.
- USD/CHF below 0.75: CHF strength threshold — relevant for Swiss investors calculating CHF gold price.
Managing Existing Alerts
All active alerts are visible in Dashboard → Price Alerts. You can edit, pause or delete alerts at any time. A fired alert is automatically marked as triggered but remains visible for review — you can re-arm it with one click.
