The GoldKurs.ch API is available on the Institutional plan (up to 10 users, 5,000 requests/day) and provides programmatic access to live precious metals prices, currency rates, COMEX data and your account portfolio.
Authentication
The API uses Bearer token authentication. Generate your API key in: Account Settings → API → Generate New Key. Include the key in all requests: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY.
Key Endpoints
- GET /api/v2/prices: Live spot prices for gold (XAU), silver (XAG), platinum (XPT), palladium (XPD) in USD, CHF and EUR. Refreshes every 60 seconds during trading hours.
- GET /api/v2/rates: Currency exchange rates for 30+ pairs. Live SNB and ECB rates.
- GET /api/v2/portfolio: Your current stack tracker holdings with live valuations.
- GET /api/v2/alpha-report: Latest AI Alpha Report data as structured JSON (score, forecast, signals).
Rate Limits
Institutional plan: 5,000 requests/day, maximum 100 requests/minute. Response format: JSON. Latency: typically under 200ms. Status page: status.goldkurs.ch.
